Don't expect too much cleanliness (and you should definitely be a dog lover, there are always two dogs running around the grounds, they're not a nuisance but nobody cleans up after them).

A bit of road traffic noise (and daytime with roadworks) as well as nighttime noise from the restaurant/bar next door - but I'm guessing that is a common problem in Uluwatu.
