Needed a taxi to get to important locations and restaurants.

The location, breakfast, the staff.

It was an emergency stay but I was more than happy with my room and with how the staff communicated with me and helped me.

Booking network, May 2026, rated 9/10 by this guest

It's inconvenient to be asked to pay extra, have to go all the way to reception, and not get a quick solution.

Great location, super quiet, large terrace and spacious room.

Booking network, April 2026, rated 9/10 by this guest

Rooms are lovely but don’t take a room on the first flops as the laundry truck comes at 5 am in the morning and is very noisey.

Google, August 2026, rated 4/5 by this guest
Room size2833Split

The hotel is comfortable and clean and, although our romm was not large, it was fine for just four nights.

Booking network, April 2026, rated 9/10 by this guest

Room condition520Weak spot

The hotel was an older hotel but it was still reasonably comfortable.

Booking network, June 2026, rated 7/10 by this guest

An old building so not sure i'd quite give it four (UK standard) stars - bathrooms are cosy and showers compact but our 'superior' double was very roomy and comfortable.

Google, March 2026, rated 4/5 by this guest

The rooms were outdated and required some maintenance.

Booking network, August 2026, rated 8/10 by this guest

It was very hot and they would not turn on the a/c.

Booking network, April 2026, rated 2/10 by this guest

Air conditioning didn't work as apparently they don't turn it on in April but we weren't told when making the reservation.

Google, April 2026, rated 3/5 by this guest
Complaints the hotel left unresolvedcomplaints falling: 6.5 in 100 a year ago, 3.5 now11 of 2861 in 26 reviews

The room was small and didn’t have a wardrobe despite it being mentioned in the description and when we complained we didn’t get any alternative solution.

Google, July 2026, rated 1/5 by this guest

When asked reception staff they advised the AC doesn’t work this time of the year.

Unpleasant surroundingscomplaints falling: 6.5 in 100 a year ago, 2.0 now7 of 2861 in 41 reviews

The area felt a little unsafe a night but no worse than any other city, just use your common sense.

Tripadvisor, December 2025, rated 5/5 by this guest

The bad: Reviews rightly point out that the neighborhood immediately adjacent to the train station isn't the most attractive, with a lot of graffiti and some homelessness.

Tripadvisor, December 2024, rated 5/5 by this guest
Not as shown or bookedcomplaints rising: 0.0 in 100 a year ago, 2.4 now6 of 2861 in 48 reviews

Unexpected charges and refundscomplaints falling: 3.2 in 100 a year ago, 2.0 now6 of 2861 in 48 reviews

Expensive city tax compared to other places I think that must be all of Rome

Booking network, July 2026, rated 10/10 by this guest

On the downside, the city tax is a bit too high and there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
