The bed itself was relatively comfortable though and the food options at breakfast were passable but not significant in range or exceptional in quality, but our stay definitely still represented good value for us.

The rooms are small but clean unfortunately you cannot have your window open due to the noice and they have shutters on like most do in Rome so it means you don’t get any natural sunlight in at all.

Air conditioning was limited to 18c which was not comfortable many nights as weather was very warm.

I guess we stayed in one of the bad ones with no windows, a/c that didn’t work (bad combination), but even worse every morning at 05:45 the breakfast team arrived in the kitchen, which was very noisy and sharing the wall with our room.
