We also paid for a room with a guaranteed balcony view of the Pantheon, and while this was technically accurate, we were positioned on the far side of the hotel, and could only see the back third of the Pantheon, which was disappointing.

The only issue is their tiny elevators and some of their rooms are difficult to get to and should give you the option of easy access rooms for people that are older.

They didn't have rooms with twin beds, but on the second night they moved us to a room with a small terrace overlooking the rooftops of Rome and the Parthenon, which is simply stunning.
