Due to the building’s age, the rooms are rather dim, the air conditioning cannot be adjusted manually, and the bedding is uncomfortable.

The bed mattress was far too firm for me, some of the breakfast items could have been a little bit better quality, some people might find the decor a bit faded - there are little bits here and there that needed a bit of repair - but these are minor things and certainly didn’t detract from our stay.

If you are staying at the front of the hotel it is rather noisy as it is down a side road where there are lots of restaurants.

The hotel building is 400 years old but the interior includes all the modern facilities, including the Versace tiles which is awesome.

The hotel has more than enough time to potentially resell the room, yet they have refused to make any exception or work with me despite the circumstances and the fact that I reached out almost immediately after booking.

The room was not worth the money and nothing like the images that were shown, it seemed like it might’ve originally been an attic but was converted into a hotel room as a rushed afterthought.
