But our main gripe was that the owner was impolite and refused to refund any portion of one day's cost when, five days prior to leaving, we noticed I had booked one too many days.

The rooms are very small, you can't even open a suitcase and the walls aren't soundproof, so you can also hear the phone vibrating in the next room.
