The location of my accommodation in Rome was fantastic, but unfortunately, my itinerary was too tiring and Italy's safety record wasn't great, so I didn't get to go out and explore.

The rooms are a little run down in places and in terms of relaxing in the hotel in the day to escape the heat or rest your feet, there is no separate hotel lounge and bar area where you can get a coffee or cold beverage or light snack.
