You will need to get grab or taxis to certain popular locations but that isn’t really a criticism as there’s plenty to do also in and around the hotel.

Location is in a lovely area but if you are wanting to visit central Bangkok be prepared for potentially a long journey depending on traffic , our taxi back to the hotel took 2 hours to travel 12 km.
