The only downside was the smoke alarm, as it's very sensitive, and if you shower with the bathroom door open, it goes off quite loudly.

Our room had severe damp on the walls and floor, one of the damp walls was laden with electric plugs and looked unsafe, the heater was clearly damaged and potentially unsafe, the walls were cracking, the desk was heavily delaminated.
