Location1542Strength

We chose this spot primarily for the location - it is steps from the Liverpool train station and super convenient to travel.

Big plus having Liverpool Street Station at close proximity.

Tripadvisor, August 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

It's a minor complaint, but for me, the hotel was a bit far from the heart of Westminster (which I knew, of course, but it sounds better in theory than in practice).

Google, February 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

The rooms are huge with spacious bathrooms, very quiet, and feature extremely comfortable beds.

Google, August 2026, rated 4/5 by this guest

It would also be nice to have a choice of firmer pillows as the airy squishy pillows made it difficult to sleep.

Room deco is really dated, and service subpar - it's 4pm and room is not made up had to call multiple times to get it cleaned.

Room condition1411Split

Room was tired and the view was horrendous.

Tripadvisor, January 2026, rated 4/5 by this guest

My room was dark, with a scuffed floor, no decor on the walls, a tiny cruise ship porthole window, a very noisy shower, and a worn carpet.

Google, April 2026, rated 3/5 by this guest

Unfortunately, the air-conditioning felt dated and was quite noisy, even when switched off, so I was grateful to have earplugs.

There was an alarm clock in my room which randomly rang around 3am and 6am.

The noise from the street at night going into early hours.

We were on floor 1 and there was a party happening which is great but would have been better if not on a floor where we could clearly hear the party and had nor been pre warned by staff

Unexpected charges and refunds12 of 2771 in 23 reviews

The hotel's service, facilities, food, and cleanliness are impeccable, but a pre-authorization charge was placed on my credit card even though my company had already paid the full amount in advance.

Problems in the bathroomcomplaints rising: 0.0 in 100 a year ago, 3.1 now7 of 2771 in 40 reviews

Cleanliness was disappointing: I would not expect to shower in a clogged and stained bathtub at a hotel of this category.

Google, March 2026, rated 2/5 by this guest

In our family room (which consists of two rooms combined into one), the shower leaked under the door, and we received a stained towel as well as two stained toilet paper rolls when we requested more from a housekeeping staff member.

Something broken in the room7 of 2771 in 40 reviews

Front desk felt a little transactional, and took way too long to fix a room key that didn’t work (such that I had to drag my luggage up and down the hallway multiple times).

Google, October 2026, rated 3/5 by this guest

The only problem we had was that the iron was leaking a lot, but they replaced it in 10 minutes—super efficient.
