Clean basic room, easily accessible instruction to work the TV and location is perfect if you enjoy a good walk through Hyde Park towards the museums.

Google, April 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

Excellent location, friendly staff, very small rooms, decent breakfast, they never cleaned the room during the three days of our stay, therefore we give it 2 stars, be careful of the noise from the subway and vibrations

The price was great though.

Google, January 2026, rated 3/5 by this guest

Amazing value…a hidden gem in Paddington.

Tripadvisor, December 2025, rated 5/5 by this guest

This was an OK hotel quite pricey for what you get…v small room and tiny bathroom and the hotel itself all felt a bit of a squeeze…so really difficult to move around, shower wasn’t great either and you get lots of sirens through the night on the min road.

Google, September 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

The breakfast was also very good, thank you for everything.

Google, November 2025, rated 5/5 by this guest

The breakfast is average not to say quite poor, and all of that for 240GBP is absolutely insane.

Tripadvisor, November 2025, rated 1/5 by this guest
Quiet at night1841Weak spot

No sleep at all, tube passes every 2 minutes, the noise and vibrations ridiculous, I may as well have slept in Paddington station.

Tripadvisor, November 2025, rated 1/5 by this guest

Every 2 minutes you hear and feel the metro passing by!

Google, December 2025, rated 4/5 by this guest

Only slight issue was the rumbling of the underground you could hear every so often that sounds like a magnitude 2 earthquake but that’s London I guess.

Google, July 2026, rated 4/5 by this guest
Room sizecomplaints rising: 18.5 in 100 a year ago, 32.1 now1181Weak spot

Problems in the bathroom9 of 2981 in 33 reviews

Shower was like having that mouse dribble on you.

But the biggest problem is that the bathroom door is ajar.

Google, January 2026, rated 4/5 by this guest
Not as shown or booked6 of 2981 in 50 reviews

The room looks nice in pictures, but in reality, it’s incredibly small—there’s barely space to walk around.

Tripadvisor, July 2025, rated 1/5 by this guest

I reserved a larger 2 twin room and what we received was a very cozy 2 twin room but I think it is the larger of the two rooms.

Complaints the hotel left unresolved5 of 2981 in 60 reviews

The staff told us that the hotel was fully booked and that they could therefore not offer us another room.

Google, August 2026, rated 1/5 by this guest

When we went to the reception desk to report the issue, we were immediately told that this was impossible because the housekeeping staff only start at 8:00 a.m.

Google, June 2026, rated 1/5 by this guest
Something broken in the room4 of 2981 in 74 reviews

Rooms had some issues with controlling the mood lights and service was a little overbearing but overall a nice experience I'm hoping to go back to.

Google, April 2026, rated 4/5 by this guest

Only negatives were that housekeeping walked into the room without knocking 2 hours before check out (I was still asleep and she woke me) and the lights randomly turned on at 2am on the first night.

Booking network, August 2025, rated 8/10 by this guest
Heating and air conditioning3 of 2981 in 99 reviews

The staff was helpful, but the room was too cold and the air conditioning didn't work.

Google, January 2026, rated 1/5 by this guest

I could not for the life of me figure out the air system, it was either freezing cold or Off, which made it get really stuffy in the room.
