Room size1123Weak spot

The room was a little smaller than we expected, but overall it was comfortable and well maintained.

The classic room is very compact and the bed proved rather small for two people.

Room condition26Weak spot

(The photos actually make it look a lot lighter than it was!) If you want a creaky London hotel then this is for you, but we found it dated, tired and poor value for money.

Room is getting a little tired

It is an older building but it is extremely well maintained and guests are made extremely comfortable by the staff's attentiveness to any need.

Unfortunately, they charged me 15 pounds for each day as “accommodation” cost, and I didn’t utilize any.

The only thing I didn’t like was the service charges that was added to the bill at the end of the stay.

Booking network, February 2026, rated 10/10 by this guest

Breakfast was excellent, we got it half price (£ 15) but it is doubtful if we'd pay full price, £ 30 (which is a bit expensive for our taste).
