Having stayed at the King Power Pullman, Pullman G and Mariott and now Shangri La, I have never come across staff so unfriendly especially those that serve at breakfast.

If there is heaven in earth this hotel could just be it - the staff, the food, the ambience, the rooms, the proximity to the river and the bts make this an experience every human should have at least once in a lifetime.

We got to our room on the Horizon Club floor and opened the door to be greeted to a very unpleasant mould smell, I called reception, they said they would send someone up, the person arrived quickly with an air freshener spray, gave it a couple of sprays then left, there was absolutely no difference…
