I stayed in the Empire Room with a balcony and sweeping views of NY from the World Trade Center to the Empire State Building and beyond: Amazing.

Tripadvisor, May 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

The location was great, across the road from the subway, the room was clean and had an amazing view of the city including the Empire State Building, the balcony was big and was great to have fresh air when we needed it.

The Orchard Suite and the Penthouse are quintessential downtown Manhattan with plenty of space to relax, entertain and enjoy yourself with panoramic views to boot!

The room was fab- roomy enough, clean but also comfy.

Google, December 2025, rated 5/5 by this guest

Is an aesthetically pleasing property however we did not expect the room to be so small and without a bathtub.

The pool was awesome too.

The pool was also the perfect way to relax off the jet lag and enjoy a cocktail under the beautiful NYC sky.

Tripadvisor, June 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

The rooftop and pool were closed which is disappointing for late fall

Booking network, November 2025, rated 9/10 by this guest
Value1617Split

A nice hotel on Lower East Side, but slightly on the high end when it comes to value for money (they have a rooftop pool with very limited hours of sun, due to the shadow from surrounding buildings, but where you pay a bit extra compared to neighbouring hotels).

Google, July 2026, rated 4/5 by this guest

Room service no one answers the phone , too expensive for amenities

Booking network, November 2025, rated 7/10 by this guest

Honestly, for this level of service, you’d be better off staying at a Holiday Inn — at least they provide water without making you feel nickel-and-dimed.

Google, December 2025, rated 1/5 by this guest
Room conditioncomplaints falling: 10.7 in 100 a year ago, 6.0 now1319Split

The room features (primarily the drapes and window dressing) need repair/replacement.

Booking network, October 2025, rated 9/10 by this guest

Considering the hotel is relatively new the rooms are in poor shape.

Quiet at night551Weak spot

Pretty quiet from the outside noise but the room next to ours was noisy when occupied.

Google, September 2026, rated 4/5 by this guest

It was not ideal to wake up to construction noise and think that the hotel staff could have let us know beforehand/ changed our floor.

Tripadvisor, August 2026, rated 3/5 by this guest

A bar behind hotel kept waking us up.

Booking network, October 2025, rated 6/10 by this guest
