Lovely hotel in convenient area with food good amenities.

Booking network, January 2026, rated 9/10 by this guest

For such a top rated hotel I’d expect a bit more - room service food was cold, rooms were comfortable but beds were small, lifts were incredibly slow, staff and service were hit and miss - found staff had a bit of an edge.

Booking network, April 2026, rated 7/10 by this guest

Problems guests raised

Raised most: the lift, in 26 of 295 reviews.

The liftcomplaints rising: 6.8 in 100 a year ago, 10.1 now26 of 2951 in 11 reviews

The only downside was the long wait times for the elevator.

Google, October 2025, rated 5/5 by this guest

The elevators can get slow since there are only two.

Google, February 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest
Something broken in the room6 of 2951 in 49 reviews

The turntable they make the centerpiece of the lounge area had a ground fault and a horrible hum - the engineer who came to fix it (which only fixed it for 6 hours) said it was always had something wrong with it - the hum was so loud it basically ruined any music we tried to listen to.

Google, March 2026, rated 2/5 by this guest

Couple of things didn’t work in the room but quickly fixed

Complaints the hotel left unresolved5 of 2951 in 59 reviews

Housekeeping didn’t clean our room even after we requested it before leaving for the day.

Google, November 2025, rated 1/5 by this guest
Problems in the bathroom5 of 2951 in 59 reviews

Ie super noisy heater going on and off, sink drain not able to drain properly, windows too thin so we could hear honking pretty loudly even though we were on the 9th floor.

Booking network, March 2026, rated 7/10 by this guest

water pressure could be better and a water from shower leaks outside no matter how careful you are.

Booking network, November 2025, rated 8/10 by this guest
Heating and air conditioning5 of 2951 in 59 reviews

The room AC also doesn’t blow very cold so it gets pretty hot in the room.

Google, January 2026, rated 3/5 by this guest
A slow check-in4 of 2951 in 74 reviews

They disabled my room key to try to get into my room to grab my suitcases since checkout time was at 12, however their own elevators are broken!!

Google, July 2026, rated 1/5 by this guest

The reason I am rating this one star is because I stayed at the Ludlow and had a room change and rather than accommodate the change smoothly (the night before I asked if they could ensure the room was available close to check out) but I was told the room would only be available at 3pm and to leave…
