Unexpected charges and refunds5 of 2781 in 56 reviews

You shouldn’t pay twice for services you expect in a five star hotel with five star prices.

Booking network, May 2026, rated 8/10 by this guest

My credit card being charged an additional £100 on arrival.

Booking network, April 2026, rated 6/10 by this guest
Not as shown or booked4 of 2781 in 70 reviews

Also, while many of the rooms shown in the photos are bright and spacious, some rooms are much smaller, with tiny windows facing an internal light well, making them feel quite dark and lacking natural daylight.

Problems in the bathroom4 of 2781 in 70 reviews

Shower water strength could have been better and I don't like showers in/over baths.

Booking network, June 2026, rated 10/10 by this guest

Also hot water in shower took ages to come through- meaning the water was running and wasted- not great when London has water shortages.

Booking network, August 2026, rated 9/10 by this guest
Heating and air conditioning4 of 2781 in 70 reviews

It was annoying that the air conditioning shut off in the middle of the night.

Tripadvisor, September 2026, rated 3/5 by this guest

No offer of a different room just a portable fan which circulated warm air already in small room.
