Great service, nice executive lounge and right in the middle of the theatre district.

After walking across the Waterloo Bridge and being absolutely knackered, he welcomed me to the hotel with such warmth and hospitality.

Tripadvisor, September 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

Loved the Breakfast in the ballroom, and keep an eye out for Rahman, the latte guru!

Tripadvisor, September 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

He was very rude and short and should be fired.

Beds192Strength

Great location, beautiful rooms, wonderful staff, excellent food (they made a VERY special breakfast for this vegan and I'm still dreaming about that strawberry croissant), and incredible beds.

Google, June 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

The room was very nice, and the bed wonderful.

Google, March 2026, rated 4/5 by this guest

Unfortunately, the rooms felt very dated compared to other Waldorf Hilton properties, and the beds, pillows, and bedding were surprisingly uncomfortable.

Google, May 2026, rated 3/5 by this guest

Pastry chef does an outstanding work, the edible garden is delicious, definitely staying again soon!

Google, May 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

The food they served was great.

Tripadvisor, August 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

I did have an issue with a bad room service order but the front desk took that off my bill and offered me a free breakfast.

Google, September 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

The breakfast had a great variety of option to suit everyone.

Google, March 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

Scrambled eggs looked poor and from powder, the food looked tired which is odd as we were in early and the baked beans looked as if they had been sat overnight.

Noise was surprisingly low, considering the location.

Room condition918Weak spot

My room however was a little “tired” in parts but nevertheless it was comfy enough for my stay.

Google, October 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

There was no air-conditioning in the bathroom no plugs for a hairdryer curling iron in the bathroom as well and the room seemed outdated for a Waldorf.

Rooms and furniture are old.

Problems guests raised

Raised most: heating and air conditioning, in 15 of 256 reviews.

Heating and air conditioningcomplaints falling: 8.3 in 100 a year ago, 5.1 now15 of 2561 in 17 reviews

It is a bit too cold in all rooms (room and public areas).

Google, August 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

The only issue we had was that the AC only hits the main room where the bed is, so the bathroom did get very warm during the day.

Google, August 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest
Something broken in the roomcomplaints rising: 3.3 in 100 a year ago, 4.6 now11 of 2561 in 23 reviews

The rooms can be dated (our ceiling actually developed a leak while we were there and a fuse blew out as well causing us to lose power until maintenance showed up).

Google, June 2026, rated 4/5 by this guest

The fact that there were no ice machines was also mildly annoying and room service menu functionality from TV or phone was very glitchy.

Booking network, August 2025, rated 8/10 by this guest
Complaints the hotel left unresolvedcomplaints rising: 1.7 in 100 a year ago, 4.1 now9 of 2561 in 28 reviews

Certainly not the worst for that area of London; however broken air con in the summer of 2026 ignored was a tough few nights sleep.

Google, August 2026, rated 4/5 by this guest

Retrieving it took 45 minutes with the helpdesk, after which they opened a "case file" with a 3–5 day resolution time, and the hotel phone went unanswered.

Google, May 2026, rated 2/5 by this guest
Problems in the bathroom4 of 2561 in 64 reviews

The showerhead did not have enough pressure so we needed to use the wand and the air-conditioning did not work properly in the room.

Tripadvisor, July 2026, rated 2/5 by this guest

The initial impressions are great, doorman, concierge, all the stuff you would expect, but our room had a broken table, barely working aircon, broken toilet seat, and an empty shower gel.

Google, August 2026, rated 4/5 by this guest
Not as shown or booked3 of 2561 in 85 reviews

Most disappointingly, the swimming pool advertised on the website appeared to be unavailable during our stay.

Unexpected charges and refunds3 of 2561 in 85 reviews

Once I reached, that X amount had become 2X.

Google, September 2026, rated 2/5 by this guest

Around eight hours after I checked out, the hotel charged £200 directly to my bank card without any prior notification, discussion or opportunity for me to respond.
