It was close to the studios we were taking classes at, within walking distance or a short subway ride of all the attractions we wanted to see, and they were very accommodating of all of our specific needs.

The main reason was the location - you are only a 5 minute walk from Times Square and in the heart of Hells Kitchen with many bars and restaurants around.

The hotel and staff were great, as was the location, the only complaint is the hotels air-conditioning units which were literally outside our window going 24/7 so sleep was 3-4 hours per night.

The manager, Lucia, can be very unpleasant and deceives the suppliers, claiming she arranged for the customer to get a new room.
