Convenience is how I ended up booking this hotel.

Hotel Paramount: excellent staff, excellent location.

Google, September 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest
Staff9936Mostly good

The stay was very good, comfortable beds, cleanliness was good, service was good, the breakfasts were excellent, the atmosphere was diverse, the only downside was that sometimes you had to wait for the elevators, but with so many people it's normal, even though there were three

Google, September 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

Whitney and Tracey gave me a warm, seamless check-in that instantly turned a hectic, exhausting conference day into a "welcome home" moment.

Google, July 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

The reception staff are completely unhelpful and unwilling to resolve anything.

Google, June 2026, rated 1/5 by this guest
Beds137Mostly good

Perhaps their area for improvement is the breakfast, as the one offered at Le Parisien is very limited, but the hotel is clean and the beds are comfortable.

Google, August 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

I enjoyed everything and the bed was comfortable.

Booking network, August 2026, rated 10/10 by this guest

The bathroom was super small too, the toilet broke and they implied it was us, the sink was smaller than one on an airplane, the bed was not only small but also sagging, the ice machine broke along with the water machine, the elevator only worked with the room key card, but it didn't always work,…

Google, July 2026, rated 1/5 by this guest
Cleanliness5644Split

The pictures look nothing like the actual room itself with marks and stains all over the place and rusted air con units.

Booking network, August 2026, rated 4/10 by this guest

So many issues dirty bathroom, broken door lock hairdryer was broken, no remote for the TV.

Tripadvisor, September 2026, rated 1/5 by this guest

One of the worst places I've seen in years, not only because of the hotel itself with its 100-year-old rooms, windows, bathrooms, and carpeting, but also because it was filthy!

Google, August 2026, rated 1/5 by this guest
Value2525Split

Good location but not worth it, rooms are in desperate need of updating, check in process took an hour, and the hotel as a whole felt very low quality despite the beautiful lobby.

Google, July 2026, rated 2/5 by this guest

It was a horrible stay—a terrible experience—where we spent a lot of money but had very little comfort.

Tripadvisor, August 2026, rated 1/5 by this guest

Amazing location but the rooms are way too small for the price.

Google, August 2026, rated 3/5 by this guest
Quiet at night1146Weak spot

The soundproofing is terrible; luckily I was on vacation.

Google, October 2026, rated 3/5 by this guest

The construction outside keep us up all night

Booking network, September 2026, rated 6/10 by this guest

Lots of road noise, even at the 12th floor so bring some kind of noise canceling item.

Tripadvisor, August 2026, rated 4/5 by this guest
Room size665Weak spot

The room was small but that’s to be expected for a NYC hotel room.

Booking network, June 2026, rated 10/10 by this guest

Small room but just enough space to be comfortable

Booking network, June 2026, rated 9/10 by this guest

Rooms were small and disappointing for the money paid and also how nice downstairs lobby area was …

Tripadvisor, August 2026, rated 3/5 by this guest
Room condition465Weak spot

A good renovation would do wonders for the hotel's reputation.

Google, July 2026, rated 3/5 by this guest

Old hotel, really small room, small bed, there is a bathtub in the shower room, the water is stagnant.

Google, August 2026, rated 3/5 by this guest

Very good location, outdated rooms and bathrooms

Tripadvisor, October 2026, rated 2/5 by this guest

The sink was warped and broken, and a huge amount of something—whether limescale or sewer pipe grime—kept coming out of the gaps.

Google, September 2026, rated 2/5 by this guest
Something broken in the room43 of 2941 in 7 reviews

We also got locked out of our room for about an hour because there was a fault with the key.

Booking network, July 2026, rated 7/10 by this guest

So about 10-20 minutes after turning the tv off it would turn itself on again so all night long my wife and i were turning it off again, i went to unplug it but didn't see the wall outlet needless to say we didn't sleep very well

Complaints the hotel left unresolved26 of 2941 in 11 reviews

Smallest room I’ve ever stayed in, TV wasn’t working, our hot water wasn’t working either and they couldn’t do anything about it.

Google, July 2026, rated 2/5 by this guest

They did nit cleaned my room, even after asking twice and sending them messages over bookingcom and mail.

Booking network, August 2026, rated 4/10 by this guest
Unexpected charges and refunds25 of 2941 in 12 reviews

Was only offered a partial refund that was less than the price per night and no one will get back to the email about a refund.

Tripadvisor, September 2026, rated 1/5 by this guest

Beware of the hidden resort fee that is required when arrive at the hotel.

Tripadvisor, July 2026, rated 1/5 by this guest
The lift25 of 2941 in 12 reviews

The elevators a number of times had a line of people waiting for them.

Booking network, September 2026, rated 8/10 by this guest

we waited 15 minutes for the elevator at around the check in time which thankfully we didn’t have to pay a late checkout fee but it was quite inconvenient to wait for the elevator for that long, other than that it was great!

A physical hazard4 of 294 reviews

Also the bathroom step is a trip hazard because the slat is loose.

Google, October 2026, rated 1/5 by this guest

Not my favorite sorry - wish the tub drained, springs popping out of bed causing multiple cuts, no fridge for drinks or food.
