The rooms could’ve been a little cleaner / the water jugs (with the sealed tape) were clearly drank out of with red lipstick still on the mouth part (photo below).

The welcome was pleasant and quick; however, last night, my children and I were woken up because the curtains wouldn't close, and what's worse, the cleaning staff started cleaning the rooms at 7 a.m.!!!

Looks like something out of Soviet Russia - there is nothing to walk to in less than 10-15 mins, the keys weren’t working so someone had to walk us in and out of our room, the beds were smaller than even a normal single so that you cannot even rollover.

Tripadvisor, July 2026, rated 1/5 by this guest

The bathrooms are clean but outdated, the wardrobes and doors are damaged, and there is almost no sound insulation.

I didn't particularly need a scenic view from my room, but promotional information that completely misrepresents reality is very damaging your hotel image.

Problems in the bathroom5 of 2971 in 59 reviews

Ok but there is a lack of better bathroom, bathtubs were dangerous and could be heard, the train took a while and the evening food was overcooked, the meat was simply brackish or overcooked.

Google, May 2026, rated 3/5 by this guest

We had some trouble getting the bath water to be hot (shower was perfect), but our travel budget stretched and we enjoyed the convenient location (super close to bus stops that could get us either to the next Tube station or pretty much anywhere we needed to go).
