The decor in terms of the desk and side tables in the rooms were very tired (chipped/scratched etc) and the carpet was stained in places but it was not dirty.

The only thing that prevented me giving 5 stars was that it was very warm and didn’t seem possible to reduce the heating system below 18.5 degrees.

Our follow-up email received a mere offer of a complimentary glass of Prosecco on a future visit – hardly a suitable gesture, considering we live in a different country and are unlikely to return.

Touch controls in the room are not always intuitive and the design of the shower in the bath means there can be quite a lot of water outside the bathtub when you've finished.

staff were lovely ,nice clean hotel ,unfortunatly the anglers retaurant was closed on our visit so they upgraded our meal .
