The only downside: the rooms are poorly soundproofed, and sleeping at night, with Rome's traffic, is very, very difficult.

We were initially assigned a room closest to the lobby, but after requesting a quieter room, we were moved to a basement room with an inner window, and our room key wouldn't open the door.
