Marc Anthony at the front desk was an absolute joy to have, he helped me out a bunch with early check in and was very accommodating to my changing schedule.

Others than that, they have perfect services with complimentary Coffee and Milk at the Lounge area in level 27 Skydeck area and services were Great and Friendly from the Reception and Team Service staff members!!

When I called frontdesk at Grand Central, the person who answered the call very rude and sounded like he is doing me a favor by refunding the amount.

The front desk folks are AMAZING and the rooms are clean, beds comfy, water stations are super convenient as are the ‘essentials’ closets on each floor.

Tripadvisor, August 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

The staff were very helpful, rooms were clean and spacious enough, and the beds were super comfortable.

Google, April 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

However, the mattress was in rough shape, sagging across the center and somewhat lumpy.

Strange room service where they skip some days and leave the room half finished, but the free cold water more than makes up for it

Well priced for a clean and comfortable room, unbelievably convenient location, and high quality service.

Tripadvisor, July 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

I believe price versus quality is one of the best in New York, and I love the location, which is just opposite Grand Central.

Definitely not worth 400$ per night.

Quiet at night2322Split

But the AC was so noisy, much more than the street noise which was already unpleasant :) Stay away if you want a good night of rest.

Google, August 2026, rated 3/5 by this guest

Excellent hotel 5 minutes walk from Grand Central, excellent service and cleanliness, the only minus is that the air conditioner is noisy and the bed is not very big, laundry and bottles of water and cappuccino in the lobby on the 27th floor are free for hotel guests and it is excellent!!!

Tripadvisor, August 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

Old, worn down, border line disgusting hotel, noisy rooms, at outrageous prices.

Room was almost perfect, bed and pillows were comfortable but the bed was not a queen size as advertised for the room (more like a full size) check in and check out process was fast and simple.

Problems in the bathroom5 of 2981 in 60 reviews

Location was great to catch the train from Grand Central, but the bathroom was dirty, toilet continuously ran, and overall it was a nice space but the bathroom cleanliness tainted the stay.

only caveat, but this is kind of a big one for me — the water was only lukewarm in the shower 😅.

Something broken in the room4 of 2981 in 74 reviews

The room we we're in needed a couple of repairs.

Booking network, September 2025, rated 8/10 by this guest

The only issue I had personally, was with my room key; I believe the battery for my door was dying, but each time I went to the front desk, they took care of it for me promptly, and reassured they would get the door looked at.
