We informed that we had requested a room on a higher floor and we had sent messages through booking.coms system and her grand response was that we should call the hotel beforehand and they dont deal with messages through booking.coms platform.

And yes, you can hear the trains (the higher you stay the less you hear then) and the A/C in our room was not always super responsive and was loud at the higher settings.

The “Manhattan View” advertisement is deceiving as my view was across the street into other buildings and the “View” was a mile away that you needed binoculars to see it.
