Tripadvisor, September 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

The only issue I had was with the pillows, which were too large for my preference, and the cleanliness of the pillowcases could have been better.

When my wife went down to get the key, the desk told her no one had called and turned her away, treating them like some kind of homeless people

Food64Mostly good

It was good it had steak , charcuterie, pasta , sandwiches, and an abundance of wine and gin the hotel is right next to grand central station so travel is super easy and there is a little bistro right across the street from grand central station if your going there I would recomend the 28th floor…

Google, June 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

However, there’s great food options in Grand Central and the hotel bar is just as nice when it comes to a menu.

Very good location and nice front desk service but the room I was in had no charm at all and no view to the outside.

Quiet at night615Weak spot

Booking network, June 2026, rated 8/10 by this guest

A bit noisy, especially if near an elevator.

Google, August 2026, rated 4/5 by this guest

In overall it was a good experience in Hyatt Hotel, the only problem was the rooms are so close to each other so you can hear and wake up after each time they open and close the door.

Google, June 2026, rated 4/5 by this guest
Value827Weak spot

That makes the location downtown go from being optimal to suboptimal and definitely not worth the price.

Google, September 2026, rated 1/5 by this guest

The price, the lack of amenties, the additional cost for every service like keeping luggage after check out, reservation requirement and not refunding on time...the reserved amount....upon check out...too dark reception area, no clear view...

Booking network, September 2026, rated 6/10 by this guest

Lovely hotel, clean rooms/ bathrooms and good value for money.

Tripadvisor, September 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest
Room condition470Weak spot

The best thing about the hotel is definitely its location, although part of the downside of being next to Grand Central is that there are all kinds of people there, the rooms don't feel very modern, and as for cleanliness, I feel that what makes it feel a little dirty is that it already looks old.

Google, August 2026, rated 3/5 by this guest

The location is great but hotel is obviously dated.

Google, August 2026, rated 3/5 by this guest

We had a suite and adjacent room, suite was lovely but room was very worn, furniture in need of repair and updating desperately

Booking network, August 2026, rated 6/10 by this guest

Too few mentions to judge: breakfast.
