The discrimination towards different clients from the lounge waitress is obvious and consequently the service is rather poor.

Tripadvisor, July 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

The food available in the restaurants and through room service was delicious, and visually appealing.

Tripadvisor, August 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

Yes it would be better if they had more hot food in the evening but the staff and flowing drinks more than make up for it.

Beds are very firm so if you prefer something softer the best they can do is put into a duvet cover underneath the fitted sheet.

Quiet at nightcomplaints rising: 0.0 in 100 a year ago, 3.6 now139Split

One note is that there is a terrace bar in a neighboring courtyard that can be quite loud in good weather (open until 10p), so request a room in a different section if that’s a concern.

Google, September 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

everything worked like clockwork - the only issue was the sound of the tube which i could hear from my bedroom which wasn’t ideal

Tripadvisor, September 2026, rated 4/5 by this guest

The rooms were not sound proof, you can hear every sound in the corridor, the housekeeping staff were very loud banging and slamming doors and woke me up both nights from 5am despite me wearing ear plugs.

This may have been a five star twenty years ago but the rooms and common areas are very dated.

Google, September 2026, rated 3/5 by this guest

Good stay, however previous experiences at the hotel were better.

Booking network, December 2025, rated 8/10 by this guest

The room inevitably has some slightly dated features, but the overall care and attention to detail are evident, allowing the property to maintain its character without sacrificing comfort.

Views35Weak spot

The room itself was exactly as described on their website, but the view we had was terrible.

Tripadvisor, September 2026, rated 4/5 by this guest

Although we have had rooms in the past with street/London views, the convenience of immediate check in made up for the lack of view in our interior/courtyard facing room.

Tripadvisor, August 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

Our room (905) was very spacious with fantastic views over London.

Although reservations said I would be refunded on leaving I was not refunded and charged an additiinal £60 cancellation fee!

Google, February 2026, rated 3/5 by this guest

I will say, this is the only area that’s a bit lacking, I’ve noticed they’ve overcharged me or incorrectly billed me a few times for in-room dining, however they’re quick to fix any errors and the rest of the experience is so lovely that I’m willing to overlook it.

The aircon unit was fiddly to operate and we were unable to cool down the room during the night which is the only reason I am not rating it 10/10

Booking network, May 2026, rated 9/10 by this guest

The Langham is a bit long in the tooth- so I had some difficulty with my AC, but they try very hard to make you feel welcome and they kept my room tidy and well stocked.
