Location1040Strength

Great hotel with fun social spaces and perfectly located.

Booking network, January 2026, rated 8/10 by this guest

However, if you're looking to stay in the heart of things or close to 12th ave, you can't beat this location.

Tripadvisor, March 2026, rated 2/5 by this guest
Food102Mostly good

The food is good and the lobby bar is the perfect place to relax or meet up with friends. There’s also a night club and restaurant rooftop - I haven’t been but on Friday nights there tends to always be a line out the door.

Tripadvisor, April 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

The food and drinks are awesome, as I expect them to be because this is run by the hospitality group that owns Tao Beach Club.

Tripadvisor, July 2026, rated 4/5 by this guest

The room service QR code doesn’t let you charge the food to the room, would’ve been two starts until I had ordered some disappointing tacos from their restaurant that cost $22 for two tacos that were very small.

Google, July 2026, rated 1/5 by this guest
Views123Mostly good

The scenery, the pool, the restaurant, and the room with the balcony were amazing.

Staff14239Mostly good

The entire staff was great but Latrell stood out.

Google, January 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

Great experience here, turned out when we arrived they overbooked my room I had paid for (Christmastime) but they accommodated me with another room free of charge due to this!

Google, January 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

No drinking water was available in the room and none offered to me at checking receptionists wasn’t friendly at all and what do you mean I have to pay 100 dollars for parking for 24h witch I can’t keep on taking my car out

Booking network, December 2025, rated 4/10 by this guest
Cleanliness4118Mostly good

The rooms were clean and beds were kid friendly (very low to the ground)

Google, March 2026, rated 3/5 by this guest

Housekeeping is awesome as well.

Google, February 2026, rated 5/5 by this guest

Bed is old and has no support (you sink to the floor), door and hinges are old and worn down, the carpet in the hallway desperately is in need of a cleaning, overall, for the price it definitely does not live up to what would be expected.

Google, October 2026, rated 2/5 by this guest
Pool1713Split

Rooftop Pool Closed Early with no explanation.

Tripadvisor, September 2026, rated 1/5 by this guest

The room was clean, but surrounding areas like the lobby bar area and pool area had litter and spills on the floor, towels and cups left out by the pool.

Tripadvisor, August 2026, rated 1/5 by this guest

The pool is very small, crowded, and not well maintained.

Tripadvisor, July 2026, rated 1/5 by this guest
Room size1318Split

Dont like the layout of the bathroom made the room seem small and dark.

Tripadvisor, January 2026, rated 3/5 by this guest

Rooms a bit small lack class.

Google, July 2026, rated 3/5 by this guest

The bedroom is tiny, and there is a chain mail shower curtain.

Tripadvisor, August 2026, rated 2/5 by this guest
Beds613Weak spot

Our bed was EXTREMLY uncomfortable with springy mattress and furniture was roughed up.

Google, May 2026, rated 1/5 by this guest

It’s a bit tired and the pillows were terrible

Booking network, April 2026, rated 5/10 by this guest

The room was comfortable, though some areas felt a bit worn, and the service was inconsistent at times.

Google, July 2026, rated 3/5 by this guest

Be mindful that there’s a club in the top floor so if you’re on a higher floor you’ll hear the music all night.

Google, February 2026, rated 4/5 by this guest
Quiet at night557Weak spot

I could hear the nightclub from my room on the 8th floor, also I got woken up multiple times by loud people in the hallway and in the room next to mine.

Google, January 2026, rated 2/5 by this guest

Only the noise from the street in some rooms is bad.

Tripadvisor, June 2026, rated 4/5 by this guest

Rooms were so loud, soundproofing non-existent, no coffee in the rooms, and worst of all the beds were so miserable I couldn’t sleep.

Tripadvisor, April 2026, rated 1/5 by this guest
Value125Weak spot

The price point is way too high for the quality of space/room.

Google, March 2026, rated 2/5 by this guest

Poor customer service and quality for price is not there.

Tripadvisor, April 2026, rated 1/5 by this guest

The resort fee is outrageous and only gets you 2 bottles of water, WIFI (which should be included anyway for any hotel), and discounts at a few restaurants.

Tripadvisor, May 2026, rated 2/5 by this guest

Too few mentions to judge: breakfast.

Unexpected charges and refunds36 of 2921 in 8 reviews

$57/day hotel fee that gets you a 10% discount at some restaurants?!

Google, August 2026, rated 1/5 by this guest

Getting charged a $50 facility fee (pool, gym, WiFi, water) is nonsense, it was non-optional.

Google, July 2026, rated 1/5 by this guest
Complaints the hotel left unresolved29 of 2921 in 10 reviews

As a note, I reached out to the front desk at 2 am and he said would ask to turn down the bass but there was no audible change after that.

Google, May 2026, rated 2/5 by this guest

They will go through your bag and take an item and then when you address it there is zero accountability.

Google, April 2026, rated 1/5 by this guest
Problems in the bathroom18 of 2921 in 16 reviews

The bathroom doors do not have handles, just open circles to grab, making them completely NOT private.

Google, May 2026, rated 2/5 by this guest

The hot water shut off one of the nights we were there.

Booking network, March 2026, rated 8/10 by this guest
Something broken in the room18 of 2921 in 16 reviews

Tripadvisor, September 2026, rated 1/5 by this guest

Can't turn off light in room, no response from front desk, and curtains aren't great.

Google, July 2026, rated 2/5 by this guest
A slow check-in15 of 2921 in 19 reviews

I didn’t like that I had to wait more than an hour to get my room and being that it was book way in advance was annoying!

Booking network, January 2026, rated 10/10 by this guest

The room was not ready once we got there and that was like 4/5 o’clock and we weren’t the only ones waiting for rooms then.

Booking network, January 2026, rated 3/10 by this guest

Google, August 2026, rated 1/5 by this guest
Something stolen1 of 292 reviews

3 rooms asked for the bags because they knew we dropped them off and they were given the random bags with no names, however these bags only had the water bottles in them which means the staff went through our bags and STOLE everything else.
